Centre for Parliamentary Studies & Training – The CPST

Yesterday, 22nd January, 2025, the CPST had the honor of hosting a delegation from the Embassy of Ireland to Kenya led by the Governance Lead in the Policy Unit Ms. Siobhán Miley.

The visit marked an important milestone in achieving the Centre’s Strategic Pillar IV on Partnerships and Collaborations while further exploring synergies to address shared governance challenges and identifying collaborative opportunities in capacity building, parliamentary training and governance.

The delegation engaged in insightful discussions on shared priorities including the establishment of the East African Parliamentary Institute and gained a deeper understanding of the programmes offered at the CPST.

The CPST wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to the Embassy of Ireland for the visit as we aim to build resilient governance frameworks towards effective parliaments.
